I'm sorry that I was not able to be at the visitation or funeral for Elda. My family lived in Elda's childhood home for 14 years, from 1993-2007. My mother, Evelyn Koutz, purchased the West 3rd Avenue property from Elda, and always thought a lot of her. I met Elda a number of times, and always enjoyed my visits with her. I often felt a sense of Elda's childhood from living in her home. She sounds like she was a wonderful mother. The celebration of life video was touching.
