Obituary
Dominic Valentino passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 at the age of 93. He was an amazing man who loved his family fiercely and who was proud of each and every member. Dominic attended Aquinas College High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran from the Korean War. Retired from Columbia Gas service manager over 35 years. Former resident of Grandview Heights and a member of the Bobcat Boosters, Guild Athletic Club (GAC), Knights of Columbus and Flytown. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Rose Valentino; brothers, Charlie, Vincent and Anthony; and sisters, Angie Morris and Margaret Williams. Dominic is survived by his wife, Flora, of 69 years of marriage; daughter, Theresa (John) Schleich; and sons, Vincent (Leslie), Dennis (Jeanna) and Richard (Jennie) Valentino. A special thank you to Crystal Irons with Ohiohealth Hospice along with the Ohiohealth Hospice team, also thanks to Compassionate Caregivers. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct 12, 2023 from 4-7 pm at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. A Funeral Mass will be held the next day Friday, October 13, 2023 at St. Christopher Parish, 1420 Grandview Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212 at 11 am. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com

Bless his heart. Just heard about Dominic and am so sad but yet happy in knowing he is no longer suffering. Dear, dear Flora, I am happy to still have our friendship of many years from our Battelle days and Dom's also from Columbia Gas as my "gas man" way back in the day. We have shared many good times!
