Dolores (Marinelli) Mahaney, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Kemper House. Dolores "Dee Dee" attended St. Mary South High School and worked as an insurance industry executive. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, James Mahaney; parents, Joseph and Mary (Petruzzi) Marinelli; her in-laws John and Juliana (Gonda) Mahaney; brothers Orlando (Jan) Marinelli, Angelo Marinelli; brothers-in-law Thomas Evans and John C. Mahaney, Jr. She is survived by her brother Anthony (Martha) Marinelli; sisters Roseann Evans and Theresa (Ray) Mangini; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 10-11 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Blvd, Columbus, Ohio 43229 with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am with Rev. Charles Cotton, celebrant. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035.
