Obituary
Dolores R. Catalfino, age 81, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Her kind and generous heart simply gave out. Dolores was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She and husband Frank were co-owners with her son and daughter-in-law of Catalfino's Italian Restaurant in Pickerington. Ohio, a legacy that endured for 38 years. Dolores was also a proud member of the New Dawners at Discover Card Services, where she retired in 2016 after 30 years. Dolores was a founding member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, then joined St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Among her many passions were her family and her Buckeyes, while her crosswords and Nook were always close at hand. Dolores is survived by sons, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Catalfino, James (Marie) Catalfino; daughters, Julia Catalfino and Jennifer (Eric) Chiudioni; granddaughters, Lauren and Morgan Catalfino and Giovanna and Avianna Chiudioni; brothers, Chuck Kuskowski, Jim (Dolly) Kuskowski; sister Betty (Dick) Van Atta and countless nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, Carl and Anna (Brutvan) Kuskowski; sisters, Jeannie, MaryAnn & Theresa; and brothers, Lawrence & David. Friends may call on Friday, Jan 12, 2024 at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43212 from 4-7pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Jan 13, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 600 Hill Road North, Pickerington, Ohio 43147 at 10 am. Friends are asked to meet at the church and a procession will follow to the Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio 43137.
