One of the gadgets was the Ham Radio, he had been involved in this for over forty years. Chris also had a love for the drums and could be heard all over the house and yard, even though he was in the basement playing. His last hobby was always looking for places with a "Good meal." Beginning my last message to you like we did most every day..

Good Morning 💜
50f going to 69f
Beautiful sunny day here☀️

I miss you SO much. Our marathon calls were epic. From laughter to serious discussion and even heated debates. Sometimes just simple day to day goings on...You were my closest friend & confidant.

Thank you for valuing me with your time and showing me I mattered. It means the world to me.

Thank you for being a part of the happiest days from my childhood on Lilly Road. Tony says ditto.

Thank you for the Ann Arbor meet-ups, fine dining and sharing your U of M 💛Maizen Blue💙 spirit. I never thought our last meal was to be our very last!

Akin to your big brothers, your brave approach to life was noble. Your ability to accept and conquer a challenge, both inspiring and admirable. You made me so very proud👏👏👏👏

I already miss your sense of humor and texting our famous family "insider" jokes back n forth.
..like Right Arm (instead of right on)
..or Gravy (instead of groovy)
..or Im gonna put a foot in your aspect (- pect)
..or you saying Roger that
..or I can dig it
Vintage treasures❣️❣️

Lastly, I will miss arguing with you and your sense of adventure and stubborn sassy ways.😍

Letting go is not my strong point. But I am comforted to have your baby sister to look after, commiserate & reminisce with about the 'good ole days'.

Great solace comes in knowing that now, you are rejoined with "the best thing to ever happen" to you, your Vicki. And all the rest of Team Galilei that has gone before.

Goodnight💜U

R.I.P. Uncle Chris🙏

RIP Chris and condolences to the entire Galilei family. Although it has been a long time ago I still have fond memories of being at the Galilei house on Reed Road next to the Leo house and going to the movies with Chris. I knew Chris for all 8 years at St. Andrew as well as Watterson. It is tough losing an old classmate even though it has been a long while since we have seen each other.

Therese, I am so grateful to know Chris is with the Lord, reunited with his wife and the rest of your family. My parents are waiting for us, but they must be overjoyed to see all "the boys" together with your parents. La familia. Amore.
