Many of my warmest memories as a child occurred when my parents and I visited your home at Sandusky and Town Sts. Sometimes the parties took place upstairs (How about that stairway with a hundred steps straight up!) Sometimes it was downstairs, amid all kinds of upholstery equipment and furniture. The one constant happening was the fabulous cooked meal by your mother. How she did it in that tiny kitchen was amazing. We called your mom "Auntie." She never got mad at us for all our shenanigans in exploring both floors, dark hallways, and getting into all sorts of mischief. Your Dad was a legend on the west side, driving around in that wooden station wagon with no doors. With both your parents gone now, it is not only a great loss to your (our) family, but in a greater sense, a loss to the history of the west side of Columbus and the Italian colony there. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your great loss. May God's blessings shine upon you and your families.
With great love and fond memories, Nick

Greetings to all,

So sorry to hear about grandma Chris. She was certainly a wonderful lady and very pretty to boot. That must be where all of the girls got their great looks.

Hope all is well with all of your families.

With Deepest Sympathy,
Love,
Lisa

From our family to yours,

We learned of Chris' passing Thursday evening from Bill Metzger. Our warmest thoughts of her and our sincerest prayers are with you.

What a pleasure it was to have known Chris. Her lovely smile, shining white hair, gentle demeanor, humorous tales, delicious cooking and welcoming embrace were hallmarks of a gracious lady. Everyday life was always made a little more special when you chatted with Chris, or enjoyed one of her wonderful meals. Not only was she so special, Chris never failed to make you feel special too.

There was a time when Chris Perrini wasn't here and that time has come again. How fortunate were we to be here when she was. Thank you for sharing Chris with so many, for so long.
