Obituary

Carol "Susie" (Hahn) Graves, age 79, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on July 6, 2023. She was the eldest of 3 sisters born to Elwood "Knute" and Evelyn "Red" (Geshwilm) Hahn on October 20, 1943. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, of 40 years Benard Graves; and brother-in-law Roger Wiseman. Susie is survived by her son, Jim (Anita) Graves; two granddaughters, Ericka (Chris) Payne and Alexandra (Kyle) Krause; niece, Morgan Garrettson; and great-grandchildren, Trevor Payne, Evelyn Krause, and Owen Krause. She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon Wisemen and Cyndee (Tom) Becker, along with nieces, Holley Wiseman, Wendy Wiseman and Stacee Becker; and nephew Craig Becker. Susie worked for the Ohio Department of Corrections and Columbus Public Schools system's for over 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, and going to the casino. She has traveled to almost all 50 states, only missing a few. Above all, she loved her family. Friends are invited to a visitation at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212 on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 4-6 pm.
