Beyond heart broken for having to write this message. Growing up together was so special. Having fun running free on the farm. Family always together for birthday parties and holidays. Although our paths crossed briefly during family get togethers at Grama Pat's, the memory of our first encounter stayed with me all this time! I believe you were wearing a blue plaid shirt and the jeans that were slightly wider at the bottom, but what I remember most was your huge warm and welcoming smile.
The kindness you exuded that day has stayed with me. I'm sure a testament to the lasting impact you had on those around you. I hope you rest in peace and the memories of your warmth and friendliness bring solace to those who held you dear. May your legacy be a source of comfort, just as the memory of our first meeting brings comfort to me.

With heartfelt condolences,
Catherine

Life is full of beautiful and painful moments, most of the time those two are combined.

I always admired your fearlessness Blue. I had the great privilege of spending my childhood summers on your family’s land. The freedom that that place embodied lit me up inside, I can still feel the joy as I reminisce.

I remember I was maybe ten or twelve years old when you and Mingo took me down to the lake to meet up with some of your friends. I was so excited and grateful to tag along, not many people would have invited their little cousin, but you did. We sat on the old wooden dock watching the setting sun dance across the water. I observed as everyone there seemed to be pulled to you. They listened when you spoke and laughed at your jokes. You always had a way about you that made others near you feel tranquil and untroubled. I think it was your free soul and courage.

My memories of you will always be met with a smile. Even though you are no longer with us, I hope that pieces of your boldness will be passed to those you left behind.

I love you Blue and I hope to see you again one day.

Love always & forever, your little cousin - Audrey

It saddens our heart to hear the passing of blue. We loved you like a brother as well as our kids. We will never forget the day you made us a cake and bought all of us (11) kids a piece. You were a true chef and also a great friend you will be truly missed. Prayers for Mrs.Rebecca Brown and family

My sympathy and love goes out to you. I remember warmly the days at the school and at church with your family. Blue's sparkling eyes and happy energy and Samantha's pretty grin and glowing little face were testimonies to Jesus in their lives.
Blue was a gift and will be greatly missed. Much love to you and peace from the Lord during this sad time.

Edward I am so sorry to hear that you lost your Blue. As other people have noted I remember his smile and loving nature.

I only knew him as a child but I think his special nature was in him then also. In part i believe he got his free and generous spirit from you. May his memory be a blessing to you and everyone who knew him.
Thinking of you In this very hard time and sending you my heart felt condolences.
