Obituary

Anthony J. "Tony" Southall, age 79, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Tony was born in Steubenville, Ohio on September 09, 1937, attended Catholic Central High School, followed by three years of active duty in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He entered the workforce in Columbus, Ohio working full-time and continuing his education receiving a bachelor's degree in business from Franklin University and a master's degree from Central Michigan University. After a long business career he retired as the CEO for the Columbus Metro Federal Credit Union. He is survived by Helen, his beloved wife of 50 years; his adored daughter, Kristin (Steve) Koliha; and two wonderful grandsons, Jack and Nathan Koliha. Tony lived in Upper Arlington and was a long-time member of Our Lady of Victory Church. He was active with a wonderful group of friends with whom he enjoyed golf, poker, and traveling. He was also an avid model railroad fan. His funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Rd., Columbus, OH 43212, where his family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.
