Obituary
Anna Monaco, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was greeted in heaven by her husband, Baldino Monaco; mother, Annina Colarossi; parents-in-law, Antonio and Maria Monaco; sister-in-law, Anna Monaco; and all of her other friends and loved ones who went before her. Born in Introdacqua, Italy, she moved to America in the 1950's with her parents and met the love of her life. Anna was a beloved mother and nonna to all who met her. She lived to care for others, bringing light, love and God to all. Anna is survived by her children, Tony, Teresa and Marino Monaco; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nicole (Brian), Addison, Emma and Mia; Christina (Jan), Annina, Marina and Cora; Daniela (Kevin), Ava; Michael, Anthony, and Justin "Haruki." Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2-5 pm at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N State Street, Westerville, Ohio 43081 on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 10:30am with a procession following to Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her memory can be made to Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com

I was deeply saddened to hear of Anna's passing. "An amazing woman" does not begin to describe her. Take comfort in knowing she is now taking care of the family members who passed before her. This world lost an incredible woman but heaven gained an angel!
