Anna May Jones, "Jonesy" age 87 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at her home. Anna May was born on May 7, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Maggie (Means) Jones of Dunbar, PA. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Jones; sister, Barbara Ann Dalton, and infant sister who died at birth; long living companion and best friend Patricia J. Podsadowski; nephew, Mark Jones and niece, Brenda Jones. Anna May was an Honorary Retired Navy Veteran of the United States of America. Anna May is survived by three nieces, Anna Mae Swope, Joyce Ann Rupert, and Jamie Sue Troyer; and 5 nephews, Tom Jones, Clarence Jones, Keith Jones, Ronnie Jones, and Jack Dalton Jr; and her two "kids" Macy and Foxy. The family would like to thank best friends, Mike McKinney, Dennis and Holly Quigley and Mt. Carmel Hospice who helped her until her life's ending. A visitation will be held on Thursday September 14, 2023, from 12-2 pm at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home, 1177 W 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. She will be transferred to Burhans-Crouse Funeral Home where she will be viewed on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 12-7 pm and from 9-10 am on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, with a funeral at 10 am and burial to follow at Green Ridge Memorial Cemetery.
