Obituary

Amy Dawn McFarland, age 39, Friday October 28, 2011. Born in Zanesville on December 29, 1971. She was a graduate of Grandview Heights High School, Class of 1990 and the Columbus State Community College, Class of 2004 achieving her nursing degree and becoming a RN. Amy loved everything Harley-Davidson, collecting crystal and Native American Indian memorabilia. Amy "Mimi" was a very outgoing, giving and loving soul who never met a stranger and adored her nieces and nephews. Amy is eternally loved and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her parents, Terry & Maria McFarland, brothers; T.J. and Jeremy McFarland, sister Elana (Steve) Leslie, nephews; William and Spencer Leslie and niece Roselyn Leslie, aunt, second mother and dear friend, Laura (Bob) Friebis along with numerous other relatives and close friends. I was so very sorry to learn of Amy’s sudden passing. I have such fond memories of her as a sweet, sincere, and dedicated 14 yr old in my English class at Grandview High School. It is not surprising that in the years since she had become an accomplished, successful young woman.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, and especially TJ,as you miss her in the days to come.
