Obituary
Alfred J. Sanese, age 60, beloved brother, friend and relative of many, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Alfred and Mary Jane Sanese of Columbus. He is survived by sister Margaret (William) Weimer; and brothers Christopher (Deborah), Gregory and Jonathan Sanese; and by his former wife and dearest friend, Terry Sanese. He also leaves behind his niece Mary Jane Sanese and nephews, Christopher Sanese, Vincent Sanese and Will Weimer; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Alfred will be remembered for his creative sense of humor, his bright mind and his sentimental soul. Alfred cherished his friendships and his family, and enjoyed recalling countless stories from his youth. He had a passion for music and movies, and an encyclopedic memory about many topics that fascinated him. During his working years, Alfred served in a senior capacity with Sanese Services, the company founded by his late father and uncle. In 1973, he graduated from St. Joseph's College of Rensselaer, IN, and in 1969 from Bishop Watterson High School. Friends may call FRIDAY from 4 PM to 7 PM at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM SATURDAY at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Avenue. Private family interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Christopher Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com

My deepest sympathies to my second family in Ohio.
Al was an "interesting" college room mate at St. Joe's. He was always entertainig and inciteful. What a wonderful sense of humor and love of life. May you celebrate his life lived and may he now join your wonderful parents in eternal happiness.
Alla Famiglia!
Peace to all of you.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Al. I have many great and happy memories of Al and I growing up together in Clintonville, especially smoking a cigarette and eating a large amount of twinkies behind my garage. I will cherish these memories forever. You are a wonderful friend and I will miss you. My thoughts and prayers are with the Sanese family.
May God Bless,

I recently received the Contact magazine for the Alumni, Parents and Friends of St. Joseph's College and learned of Al's passing. I am glad to have known Al during my studies at St Joe, he was my first roommate in Gallagher Hall. Al was a great guy. I realize that you have lost a special person. My condolences to the Sanese Family.

So sorry to hear about Al's passing. I just found out today. When I think of Al I remember a great guy who I shared many memorable times with. The fun we had as room mates at St. Joe's, Thanksgivings at your house, fishing here in Canada, and Al taking the time to be in MaryBeth's and my wedding party. It's a sad day my condolences to you all.
