Dear Mr. and Mrs. Volpe,
You have our deepest sympathy regarding the loss of your daughter. Please take comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29. There Jesus said that "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs would hear his voice and come out."It is God's purpose to restore the dead to life. Jehovah's Witnesses will be happy to provide you with more information concerning this wonderful hope. Please speak with them when they call. Sincerely, The Blackwells

My heart aches for you and your wife right now. Your daughter was a bright, lovely girl. Difficult as it may be, try not to dwell on this tragic loss and the circumstances leading to it. Instead try to focus on the wonderful six years she spent brightening your lives and those of everyone who knew her.

I just wanted to tell you how very sorry I am to hear of your loss. I know what it's like to be adicted to alcohol because I am an alcoholic. I have a 5 year old little girl and I have realized because of what happened to you that it could have just have easily have been me. I know that the media can be very unkind when it comes to matters such as this but I know that what happened to you was in no way intentional and that you will regret it for the rest of your life. Please if you want to write to me. I can only just imagine what you are going through and if you need someone to talk to I would be more than happy to write you back. My address is 1069 Murnan Rd. Galloway, OH 43119. Take Care.

Lou,
Please accept our condolences over the loss of your beautiful daughter.
We kind of felt like we knew her (though we never had the pleasure of meeting her) from the way you lovingly spoke of her during your visits to our home.
Though we do not even pretend to know the magnitude of your loss, it must be of some comfort to know another person(s) has been helped through the donation of Abigail's organs.
You and your family are in our prayers.
God Bless.

I was so very sorry to hear about what happened to you---I live in Alabama and don't even know you but through my sister have followed your story of the tragic way you lost your life through no fault of your own---some parents just don't seem to understand that the children have no choice but to live with the stupid choices that their parents make ---and you paid the price... God bless you Abigail I know you are in a better place. Moe

Dearest Louie,
I don't know if you remember me but I was Sandy Gould's roommate in Columbus in the early 80's. You and Gary had come over to watch Ohio State and eat my homemade lasagna. (We laughed until my neighbor came over and told us to shut up! - Remember?)
Well, Sandy called me and told me all about your Abigail. Abigail's picture reminds me of you. Louie my heart breaks for you and can only imagine what you are going through. I have 3 children of my own and when I read the articles in the paper via internet, all I could do was cry for you and your family.
Louie, if you ever need someone to talk outside of the Columbus area, give me a call 619-249-0775or e-mail me (I live in San Diego).
My thoughts and prayers are with you. The only peace that one can get is knowing that Abigail is in heaven with your mom looking down on you.
