Obituary

Ione Benedetto went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021 at the age of 98. She was the daughter of the late Daniel & Guidance Orton Greear. Ione came to Columbus, Ohio in 1944. She worked for 40 years & retired from Leo Yassenoff Enterprises. Ione was married to Paul Benedetto, remaining life long partners for over 55 years, until he passed in 1998. She is survived by Fausto Sbrochi, brother-in-law; many nieces & nephews and close friends. Ione will be remembered as a kind and warm hearted person who always brought warmth and light when ever she was present. Ione's family will receive friends at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at JOHN QUINT TREONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue Columbus, Ohio where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
