Obituary

Tina M. Dotson, age 58, gained her angel wings on December 26, 2021. Tina was born June 1, 1963, to Ralph and Helen Dotson. Tina was a devoted daughter, mother, and sister, who gave freely to those she loved. While quick to offer her opinion, Tina also was just as quick to support anyone in need, especially her family. She loved big. She was so very proud of her son Bryce and his accomplishments and had a special place in her heart for her nephews and great-nephews. Tina never missed a birthday, holiday, or celebration of a special event when it came to her son and nephews, who fondly called her Aunt "T". Tina knew no stranger and was quick to engage in conversation with others, wherever it may be. She freely doled out small acts of kindness to both those she knew and those she did not. She loved her chosen profession, dental office manager, and enjoyed serving and conversing with her patients. Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Helen (Kazee) Dotson, nephew Zachary Burton, sister Angela Randolph, and her beloved dog "Baby Girl". She is survived by her son Bryce Dotson Davis, sister and brother-in-law Tonie and Roger DeLoach, nephews Ryan and Matthew DeLoach, great-nephews Matthew Jr. and Matthias DeLoach, special friends Paul and Natalie Crane, and much-loved canine companion Titan. The family will receive friends at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME 1177 W FIFTH AVE on Wednesday January 5, 2021, 11:30-1:30 pm. Funeral Service to follow. Burial Union Cemetery. Tina became a very special friend soon after meeting her. I met her on my mail route and soon after we became close friends. I looked up to her as she was well versed in so many things . I admired the love she had for her son so much , that it opened up conversation of my youngest son Troy. It was her friendly, personal nature that brought Troy and myself to become patients at the dental office . I looked forward to seeing her daily . After retirement, we still kept in touch and I looked forward to our dental appointments just to see Tina:)
You will surely be missed my friend %uD83D%uDE22

Our ȁCWondrous BandȁD was founded of establishing a brotherhood concerned with the wellbeing of others. The Founders wanted men who understood that brotherhood is the beginning of a stronger community. The idea of brotherhood points to the simplest of statements made more than 2,000 years ago by Jesus Christ: ȁCLove your neighbor as you love yourselfȁD. Especially in the most difficult times of our lives— love one another, as you desire to be loved.

We take time to grieve with Brice K. Davis in the passing of his dear mother Ms. Tina Marie Dotson who has moved from labor to reward, as well as those who are left here to work. We are not without hope—prayer is power, beyond our understanding.

It is our hope that our Lord brings all that have been touched by this Ms. Dotson the much needed comfort and peace during this time.
After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us.

Humbly submitted because Sigma Cares, on this 3rd day of January 2022.

On behalf of Union Memorial UMC, know that God can wipe away every tear. Jesus said, "Very truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit" John 12:24. An angel of the Lord has fallen, only to rise with the resurrection power that comes from Heaven, because God is able, and God is still on the throne of mercy and grace.

During your time of grief, sorrow, and pain for your mother, Sis. Tina Dotson, who transitioned from this world into the halls of Heaven, our prayers are with you. So, let these words from John 14:1-3 live and rest within your hearts and souls forever: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me. In My Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."
