Obituary

Nancy L. Schwan 88 of Columbus, Ohio passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday December 17, 2021. Nancy was a graduate of West High School and Columbus State Community College where she earned a nursing degree. After graduation she went on to work for Mt. Carmel East Hospital in the Surgical Step-Down Unit where she later retired from. She was very active in N.A.M.I. Nancy was an active member of the Scioto Boat Club and St. Christopher Parish. Nancy will always be remembered as the life-long caretaker of her family after her retirement. Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mayme, daughter, Sheryl A. Ruzicka, son, Michael "Zeke" Ruzicka. Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Schwan, children, Susan "Suzi" Ruzicka, Teresa "Teri" Ruzicka, grandchildren, Josh "Christy", Charmaine, Amanda, 4 great-grand-children, stepdaughter, Penny Love-Raihala. The family will receive friends THURSDAY DEMBER 23, 2021 10:30 AM-12:30PM AT THE JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME 1177 W FIFTH AVE. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1 pm at St. Christopher Catholic Church 1420 Grandview Ave where family and friends are asked to meet. Fr. Andrzej Kozminski, Celebrant. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery on a later date. Arrangements under the care of the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME 614-294-4416
