Alida Lidamaria Procario Breen, age 73, passed away suddenly on Thursday May 27th, 2021, in Venice, Florida. She was born in Montenero Val Cocchiara, Italy and immigrated with her family to Columbus, Ohio in May of 1956. She graduated From Grandview Heights High School and Franklin University. Alida was a Certified Public Accountant and worked at Ohio Transmission Corporation for 32 years, retiring as Chief Financial Officer. Alida also served on the board of Ketchum & Walton Company. She loved to travel, especially ocean cruises, and playing Mah Jong. She was known by friends and family for her extraordinary cooking. Alida was the heart of the family and will always be adored. She is preceded in death by parents; Romeo and Antonietta Procario, brothers; David Procario I and David Procario II. She is survived by her son, John Breen; fiance, George Sites and his son, Brian (Ellyse and grandson Carson); siblings, John (Barbara) Procario, Robert (Maddie Opal) Procario; nieces and nephews; Marianne Procario Naymik, John R. Procario and Paul Procario; great nephews, Chase Procario, Owen Naymik, and Hunter Naymik. Friends may call MONDAY June 7th, 2021, at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 3-7 P.M. Face masks are required at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on TUESDAY June 8th, 2021, at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the grounds of the cemetery) 6440 S. High Street, Lockboune, Ohio. Rev. Fr. Jeff J. Rimelspach Presider. Face masks are required at the Funeral home. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO GATHER AT THE CHAPEL FOR HER FUNERAL MASS. In lieu of flowers a donation to Crohns and Colitis foundation will be appreciated.
