I became a "client" of Joe's barber salon back in the mid 70s when it was located on Brice Road. At first my barber was "Adam"...then when he moved to Athens it was Sandy Welch. "Dennis" and "Joyce" were also on Joe's team. It was ALWAYS a HOOT going to the shop to get my hair cut. I went away to college and law school and ended up practicing law at Bricker & Eckler on Capitol Square, so I frequently walked from the Hyatt Hotel through the passage way of shops to get to the City Center Mall. One day I noticed Joe had moved his shop to the "passage way"! It was GREAT seeing him after about 10 years. What a nice man and he ran a great shop. Wonderful memories from years ago. Mark Palmer

Sending prayers , sympathy , and warm thoughts to you all at this time. You all were great neighbors and we had so many good times with Joe as the kids were growing up. He will be missed by so many. So sorry to miss the services but will be thinking of each of you and be in touch when back in Ohio . Love and hugs, Martha
