Obituary
Filomena "Fannie" (Ventresca) Spinosi, of Columbus, Ohio, age 90, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Heartland of Dublin. She was a founding member of St. Matthias Catholic where she volunteered with the funeral ministry and sang in the church choir; she also volunteered at St. Matthias School and St. Francis DeSales High School. She was also a member of the S.F.I. She is preceded in death by her husband, Olindo Willard Spinosi; parents, Palmira and Joseph Ventresca. She is survived by her loving children, Lindo (Christine) Spinosi, Joseph (Laurie) Spinosi and Cindy (Sam) Capizzi; grandchildren, Jean (Pat) Rond, Justine (Geoff) Blossom, Jennifer Spinosi, Michael Spinosi; great-grandchildren, William and Alexander Rond. The family wishes to thank Heartland of Dublin, Capital City Hospice, her caregivers and her many visitors. Her family will receive friends on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Family and friends are asked to gather on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road (at Karl) for her funeral Mass. Rev. Fr. Raymond Larussa, Presider. Entombment to follow, Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fannie's name are preferred to either St. Matthias Church, 1582 Ferris Road, Columbus (43224) or Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive #170, Columbus (43231).
