Deirdre Ann Roumeliote

Deirdre "Dee" Ann Roumeliote, September 1, 1979 - April 18, 2020. Deirdre was here for a short time but she made a big impact. She was joy and light. She was funny, intelligent, and a born performer. She was generous. She had room in her heart for everyone, whether they deserved it or not. She learned and taught us hard lessons. She was not perfect, but none of us are. We all could have loved each other better, but we did the best we could. Dee was a direct care worker with LifeCare Alliance. She loved the work she did with the elderly and was finding purpose and meaning in this service to others. We were all so proud of her accomplishments and how she was overcoming her personal challenges. Dee's spirit is reunited with those of beloved family that have gone before her; her son David, her father John, her uncle David, and her grandmother Ruth (Nanny). She is safe, loved, in excellent company and to be honest we're all little jealous that she's partying with them. She left a few of us behind, but we know she didn't want to go, she fought hard to stay with us. Here to keep her in memory and tell her story are her children; John, Scottie, and Isaac, her mother Ruthann and her sister Nicole, aunts Kim and Kristi, uncles Bob, Mark, and Bob, many more aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. There will be no services at this time due to the pandemic. However, we are hoping that by her birthday later this year we can safely gather together and celebrate her life. Dee loved hard, and all she wanted was to be loved in return. Please honor her by loving those you have near, and by showing kindness and empathy to everyone you meet. We all need to take care of each other. If you wish to contribute a memory, a donation, or condolences please send all correspondence to Arrangements entrusted with the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus.
