My grandmother was Swiss, and for many years I loved to attend the Swiss Club Xmas concerts, which Noel & his fellow alphorners would open with a chorus of stunning music that brought tears to my eyes. While I did not know him personally, I was in the audience for a great many concerts. He certainly brought a unique joy into my life.

Dear Meg and family --
Noel and I did not work together at CAS but we sang together in the CAS chorus in the 80's and 90's. He had a nice voice and was pleasant to sing with. May God give you peace and comfort in these days, and may Noel rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Fred Glasser, onetime CAS colleague

I really enjoyed working with Noel at CAS for the 14 years I was there. We had wonderful conversations about German, Germany, and of course especially German/Swiss music. He was a talented, enjoyable person and I know his family will miss him dearly. RIP, Noel.

As a fellow member of the Worthington Civic Band, I didn't know Noel the person very well, but I knew his playing! I could tell music was in his heart. So glad we got to make music together. Godspeed.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Noel when he came to sing with the Delaware Community Chorus just a few short months ago, and was very sad to learn of his passing. We'll miss his personality and musical talents, as I know many others will. Sending deepest sympathy on behalf of the Delaware Community Chorus.
