Tony, though I did not know your father, those who did write eloquently of his impact on their lives. He was obviously a man blessed by many family and friends who respected and loved him. A father’s long life does not make it easier to lose him.
Please know I am saddened by your loss. My image of your dad is of a great family man based on the educator of high character and humble success I have known right out of college. Please accept my sympathies.

Sorry to hear about Tony's passing. We were classmates at Rosary, way back in the mid forties. He was the fun one of the bunch--always cutting up and making us laugh and getting us in trouble with the nuns. Even after all these 70 years, he and about 10 of us still met for lunch occasionally. He was still the fun Tony we remembered from school. He will surely be missed.

I have many thoughts from Tony Sr.
Many years ago, Tony Jr. just won a weight lifting contest. As both Tonys were unloading an order of fruit from the truck to my parents garage, my Mother complimented Tony Jr. for his accomplishment. Tony Sr. then spoke: 'This morning I asked him (Tony Jr.) to take out the trash. He said it was too heavy'!
When I was running the family business, we would get in many orders for fruit baskets, especially during the holidays. One day Tony Sr. delivered an order while I was as the wholesale florists picking up flowers. One of the crew at the flower shop called me asking if I had a check for Tony Sr. I asked her to put Tony Sr. on the phone. I told him that I would drop off a check to his home later this afternoon. Tony Sr. answered: "I'm not worried. I have enough money to last the rest of my life - as long as I die tomorrow!" I asked him if he sells bags of nuts & he answered: 'I'll sell you anything, except my family! Hell, I'll give you them'! Fond memories of a great man! Salute!

I saw your Father's name listed in the Catholic Times as having passed way. I remember all of you visiting us in Delaware. Our fathers - both named Anthony were long time friends. The memories go back many years. We were all little kids and I recall how sweet your Mother was. Every time I would run into someone with the last name Pusateri I would ask their background. Little did I know how popular the Pusatari name is. Please accept my sympathy for the lost of your father with love and warm memories. Ceena Dinovo Baker
