My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family Anita. So very sorry to hear this news. Well, now the "3 musketeers" are together again. You had a happy, long life together. Thank God for those years. Love and prayers, Kathy

August 1977 I started coaching football at Dublin HS. I had this wirey little Italian kid named Mike Policaro that was half the size of the linemen he played over but was fearless. That December Mike wrestled for me as a true freshman. By January, I was a member of the Policaro family. We have lost a kind, caring, serving man but his legacy will live on through the many lives he has touched. Frank and Anita are like parents to me. They brought me through some of my darkest days. Ti amo Frank, La Familia!! Rest with the Angels and Saints

My Mother first took me to "Frank's Barber Shop" - located across from John Burroughs Elementary on the N.E. corner of Sullivant & Richardson Aves - in the fall of 1950. Frankie was 19 at the time. I was 5.

Frank and his father Tony cut my hair for the next 21 years. Their small, friendly shop was often filled to capacity. There were no appointments, so wait times could exceed an hour or more ... but it was always well worth the wait.

Frank and his Dad were both soft-spoken men who knew how to make a customer feel special. Even a customer who was 5 years old.

My condolences to Frank's family and friends. He and his father were both exemplary people and a visit to their shop always made your day a little bit brighter.

We had the good fortune to visit with Frank and Anita at their home with Michelle and Jeff in Arizona this past February. A Good Man and a Bit of a Character. Sorry for your loss. Thank Goodness you had him for a long time.
