Obituary

Terri (Fraganato) DeRousse, age 73, passed away on May 9, 2022, at home. Graduate of West High School. She leaves behind a dysfunctional group of people who will miss her, and all the stories she created for them. After a long life filled with adventures, turquoise jewelry, men that didn't deserve her, and every possible hairstyle, Terri found her true calling in retirement, as a pet sitter providing hours of treats and belly scratches. Her favorite hobbies were telling her family about the newest game show she just watched, testing the projectile strength of her cell phone, and spoiling a puggle. She loved animals, comfy pants, NCIS, LeBron James, the Weakest Link, telling you about the newest snack she found, and denying she ate the last Reeses in the candy dish even though we saw her take them. Terri had a strong aversion to football referees, politicians, vegetables, spam phone calls, dresses, weather in general, and being told she needed a hearing aid. Which were all things that added to the amazing person she was, and a true testament to her tenacity. Preceded in death by father, Vito Fraganato, sister and brother-in-law Judith and Ron Simmons, brother and sister-in-law James and Betty Fraganato, brothers Vito Daniel Fraganato, Joseph Fraganato, brother-in-law Jerry Albert, and brother-in-law James J. Brown. Survived by sister, Angela Brown, nieces and nephews, Jacci (Sean) Snyder, Paul (Chandra) Fraganato, Derek (Denise) Simmons, Michelle Simmons, Danny Fraganato, Brian Fraganato, Tony (Denise) Fraganato, Jimmy (Kim) Fraganato, Carly (Jen) Albert, Kyle (Laura) Albert, and Natilly (Jason) Boals, dogs Archer, Frankie, and Harry, many other family members and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Timothy Moore and Zangmeister Cancer Center for their compassion, and care, and never ending interest in Terri's favorite "Pugs not Drugs" t-shirt. Private family interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her name.
