Obituary

Donna Jean Travis, age 86, of Dublin Oh, passed away suddenly, February 14, 2019. Born January 8, 1933 in Jersey, Ohio. She graduated from Pataskala High School. Reunited in death with her parents, Charles Brooks and Vada Josephine (George) Fravel, husband Robert, brothers Jack Fravel, Wayne Fravel, sister-in-law Connie Fravel, nephew Brian Fravel, and father of her children Edgar E. Ater. Donna started working at the local grocery store at age 14, and never stopped working. She was still working part-time as a food demonstrator at Costco until the time of her death. She loved staying active and interacting with people. Donna inherited a love of crafting from her mother who taught her to crochet and a knack for cardmaking from her years at American Greeting. Her crocheted blankets and personalized cards will be cherished by her loved ones. Above all else, Donna loved and cherished her family. Donna is survived by her brother, Gary Fravel; sister-in-law, Nancy Fravel; children, Eric Ater, Candy (John) Gioffre, and Tonya (Mike) Pastirzyk. Grandchildren, Erica (Adam) Darlin, Katherine Gioffre, Nikki (Jason) Laughlin, and Johnathan (Claire) Gioffre. Great grandchildren, Nicholas Gioffre-Fiocca, Jack Darlin, and Ali Laughlin. Special niece, Kelly (Gary) Johns and many other nieces and nephews. "Until we meet again, may God bless you, as He has blessed me." Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, where her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow in Iliff Cemetery, Crooksville.
