Patricia (Byrne) Allerton, peacefully passed in her sleep on Monday, October 29, 2018. Now reunited with the love of her life, husband of 50 years Jack, who was born to Eternal Life, December 25, 2016. Pat was born October 16, 1925 in Shawnee, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents, Margaret and Gerald Byrne, sisters Geraldine Matranga and Kathleen Winstead, and son-in-law Tony Valentino. She leaves behind daughters Debi Valentino and Donna Jo Anglin (Gerry); grandchildren Tiffany Rigsby (Tim) and Greg Valentino (Jodie); great-grandchildren Joseph, David, and Tyler Rigsby, and Gabriella and Rocky Valentino; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Pat and Jack lived a full life traveling to five continents and all 50 states. They maintained a second home in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee for more than 30 years. They belonged to four country clubs where they participated in social dances, clubs, and golf leagues well into their 80’s. Pat worked for Lazarus for 39 years holding many titles including fashion buyer, senior staff member, and cosmetics department manager. After retiring, she owned and operated a modeling agency. Pat shared her love of sewing with family and friends, gifting keepsakes including Christmas stockings, baby quilts, kitchen necessities, and more. Loved ones cherish items with the “Made Especially for You by Mum” labels. Pat’s favorite charities were St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Make-A-Wish. She adored flowers and always had live arrangements in her home. The family will receive guests at St. Timothy Church, 1070 Thomas Lane, Columbus, on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with the funeral Mass following at 11:30 a.m. with celebrant Rev. Fr. Bill Faustner. Interment services for the immediate family will follow at a later date. Arrangements entrusted with JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CENTER, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus.
