Obituary

Rob J. Castorano, age 54, passed away at home on Sunday, November 5, 2017, surrounded by his family. He was born in Columbus on October 18, 1963 to the late John P. Castorano and Lucy (Olivieri) Eckstein. Rob loved riding his Harley Davidson and worked as a carpenter for Columbus City Schools. Besides his parents preceding him in death, he is also preceded in death by his step-dad, Don Eckstein; step-daughter, Andrea Soria Castorano. He is survived by his wife, Renee; daughter, Kristen (Justin) Humphreys; son, Nickolas Castorano; grandchildren, Carter and Kellan Humphreys; siblings, Rosie (Dave) McKinney, John (Tina) Castorano and Joyce (Frank Gattas) Castorano; step-children, Leah Groom, Skyler Groom and Thomas Groom; step-grandchildren, Silas, Ryland and Elijah Farris; many nieces, nephews and friends; and his faithful dog, Josie. Friends may call on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 3-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Funeral Mass 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Road, Columbus. Burial to follow, Sunset Cemetery, Galloway.
