Obituary

Anthony J. "Andy" Catalfino, age 84, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, at home surrounded by his family. He attended Aquinas High School, was in the Air National Guard Reserves and was employed as a barber for 40 years, first at Andy's Barber Shop on Livingston Avenue and later at Walnut Heights Barber Shop on Lindora Drive. He was also a parishioner of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sylvia (Cassel) Catalfino; son, Rick (Judy) Catalfino of Homestead, Fla.; daughters, Coni (Rick) Bryant of Gainesville, Fla., Debbie (Paul) Myers and Dena (Shree) Sharma; grandchildren, Kevin (Tiffany) and Keith (Leslie) White, Angie (Aaron), Gina (Keith) and Amanda Catalfino, Aaron (Kelly) and Lauren (Devin Largent) Myers, Vince (Liz) Davis, Megan (Jamon) Paszke, and Anna Sharma; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Hailey, Kaylin, Emma, Peyton, Mia and Blayne White; Owen, Ryleigh, Ashton, Madilyn, Alyvia and Jackson Myers; "Little Girl" Mila Paszke; Allissa, Kaitlyn, Nathaniel, Clayton, Anthony, Courtney and Chelsea Catalfino; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Cassel; sisters-in-law, Dolores Catalfino and Joan Baker Cox; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by parents, Frank T. and Cecelia M. (LaScola) Catalfino, Sr.; brothers, baby Frank, Jr., and Frank Catalfino; brother-in-law, Forrest Cassel; Friends may call on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue (with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m.). Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 5225 Refugee Road, Columbus. Burial to follow, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. The family wishes to thank Mt. Carmel Hospice and a special note of thanks to Dr. Richard Oberlander. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Mt.
