Obituary

Philomena (Ranalli) Sartori, age 96, passed away on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Croce and Carmela Ranalli; husband, John A. Sartori; sons, John P., Leonard and Richard Sartori and Joseph Tantarelli. Survived by loving sons, Billy (Mary) Tantarelli, Eddie Sartori, Pete (Debbie) Sartori; loving daughter, Doris (Gary) Lyon; and daughter-in-law, Patty Sartori; grandchildren, Ronda Tantarelli, Matthew (Kim) Mesteller and Michael (Shauna) Sartori; great-grandchildren, Amber Tantarelli, Kennedy and Anthony Kocheran, Jack and Max Sartori; several siblings and many other extended family members; special neighbors, Mark and Kris Hunter and Fred and Carol Francis; and caregiver, Jan Pickett. She was a former member of St. Matthias Catholic Church; member of St. Francis Woman's Club and St. Francis Senior Citizens Club. She worked for many years for Columbus Public schools, serving breakfast and lunch at several elementary schools. She generously provided hats, gloves and scarves every winter to students who did not have them. Friends may call on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue, where her funeral will be held on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Private family burial, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Philomena to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN (38105).
