Obituary

Bryce Steven Adkins, 66, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away January 28, 2017. He was born in Columbus, Ohio August 14, 1950 to parents Bryce E. and Eileen (Trant) Adkins. He was a graduate of UCLA where he played Varsity football, played rugby and coached. He also coached Varsity football here for Otterbein College. Bryce served in US Navy as Navy Seal during Vietnam War. He owned BSA Properties of the Carolinas. Survivors include wife, Teresa H. Adkins; brother, Sam S. Adkins of Seattle, Washington; and sisters, Kathleen A. (John) Faiella and Eileen (Robert) Laflin of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church, 893 Hamlet St., Columbus, Ohio. Donations can be sent to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
