Obituary

Cecilia DeVendra, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at The Forum at Knightsbridge. She is a graduate of St. Mary's High School and was a long time real estate agent for Paul Love Realtors which later become HER. She is preceded in death by parents, Paul and Anna McCarthy; brother; Paul McCarthy; sister, Mildred Vespa; and her husband, Albert P. DeVendra. She is survived by her sons, Charles DeVendra, Dennis (Genia) and John (Elaine) DeVendra; grandchildren, Nick (Abbie) DeVendra, Natalie (Troy Callicoat) DeVendra and Jacob DeVendra; great-grandchildren, Blake Albert Callicoat, Adeline Rose and Gabriel Nicholas DeVendra. Friends may call Friday, December 2, 2016 at ST.ANDREW CATHOLIC CHURCH 1899 McCoy Road, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed by her funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. Anthony Davis, Presider. Ceil was a feisty lady with much love and pride in her family. We bowled together, shopped the resale stores and commiserated on many occasions. She is missed. My condolences to her family.
