Obituary

Maryann (Di Paolo) Carlson, age 92, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, at First Community Village. Maryann was a member of S.F.I. Auxiliary, and was a very active member of St. Matthias Parish. She loved Bingo and gambling. Preceded in death by husband, Harold Carlson; parents, Feliciano "Felix" and Marianna (Finocchi) Di Paolo; brothers, Andy (Ruth), Louis (Rose), Nestor (Gwen), Ralph and Raymond; sister, Lucy (E.J.) Teatino, Bea (Dominic) Susi, Lillian Ey. Survived by daughters, Mary (William) Mulvaney and Agnes Tonnesen; grandchildren, Randy and Holly Mulvaney, Michael Tonnesen; sister, Norma O'Neil; sisters-in-law, Mary Di Paolo and Karen Di Paolo; and brother-in-law, Richard Ey; many, many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Saturday October 22, 2016, St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road (at Karl), where friends may call one hour prior to the Mass. Rev. Fr. Raymond Larussa, Presider. Burial, St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. In lieu of Flowers contributions in Maryann's name to St. Matthias Catholic Church. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com. Hello Norma,
I am sorry to hear about Maryann. She was a joy to work with during Activities at First Community Village. She loved Bingo and knew all the different ways (straight-across, diagonal, postage stamp, etc.) to play. The Activities team knew that we had to make sure she was at every game.
She will be missed.
