Janet M. Palmer, age 83, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017, at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy and was a founding member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She retired from Jones & Stuckey Civil Engineers; and was a lover of dogs and also enjoyed gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore J. and Marie D. (Hettinger) Sayer; brother, Theodore J. (Aloyse) Sayer, Jr.; her husband, James Norman Palmer, Sr.; and three infant children, Theresa Marie, Paul Payton and Kathleen Marie Palmer. She is survived by her sons, Jim (Julie) Palmer, Jr. of Ostrander and Jeff (Mary) Palmer of Woodbridge, Va.; grandchildren, James N. Palmer, III, Jessica L. Palmer, John J. Palmer, Jeremiah M. Palmer, Jeffrey R. Palmer, Josephine M. Palmer and Juliet M. M. Palmer; step-granddaughter, Dawn Davis; step-great granddaughter, Olivia Davis; sister, Theresa Marie Karabinos; brother, David Quentin Sayer. Family and friends may call Monday, May 1, 2017 from 6-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 McCoy Road, Upper Arlington. Rev. Msgr. Stephan Moloney, Presider.
