Obituary

Randy Patterson, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, February 03, 2017. Preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Patricia Patterson. Randy was employed with Jonathan Yu State Farm agency; he loved playing the drums, spending time making family and friends laugh and of course, cheering on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. He is survived by his father, William M. Patterson, Sr.; son, James Patterson; daughters, Casey Patterson and Gina Comstock; many grandchildren; brother, William M. (Linda) Patterson, Jr.; nephews, William M. (Lisa Ragland) Patterson, III and Joseph (Canady) Patterson; niece, Andrea (Russell Kerns) Patterson; great-nephew, Chad Pennington; great-niece, Brooklyn Pennington; he is also survived by the love of his life, Sue Homsher; stepdaughter, Nicole Homsher; stepson-in-law, Todd Berry; good friends and neighbors, Chip and Dawn Beachler, as well as childhood and life long friend, Beth Wroe; along with the "Stonesthrow Gang." Instead of a service, there will be an intimate family gathering to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made toward funeral expenses c/o 3809 Stonewsthrow Court East, Hilliard (43026).
